Euripides and Tolkien, together at last... Div III auditions Monday and Tuesday!
Come audition for one or both of these exciting Division III productions to be staged in mid- to late-November!
"THE BAKKHAI" by Euripides
The god of wine, theatre and religious ecstasy. A young, blasphemous king. A chorus rocking out to music inspired by The Ramones, The Sex pistols & The Distillers. An ancient Greek play with a modern punk aesthetic!
8-10 actors needed, both male and female.

"THE HOMECOMING OF BEORHTNOTH" By J.R.R. Tolkien
A short play penned by Tolkien in the early 1950s, portraying the travels of two monks in the aftermath of the events of the 10th century Anglo-Saxon poem "The Battle of Maldon". A historical verse drama with shocking current-day resonance!
2 speaking roles, male or female, and several nonspeaking roles. Prepared monologue optional.
