Memorial Services
The following events have been planned in honor of Hampshire College alumns Meg Sanders, Emily Richardson and Em Doran.
On the Hampshire Campus:
Sunday, October 2, 2005 at 1:00 PM Red Barn Memorial Event for Meg Sanders
Family Services
Em Doran Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM Newcastle, New Hampshire
Emily Richardson Saturday, October 8, 2005 Aurora, New York area
Additionally the Doran and Richardson families are working with Hampshire staff to plan a memorial event for both of these young women, to be held at Hampshire College sometime in November. We will keep all community members informed about the specific time and place for this event, as soon as we can arrange it.

As one of the volunteer firefighters who responded to this terrible accident, I wanted to send my condolences to the friends and families of Emily Doran and Emily Richardson. While any accident with a fatality brings sadness, it is especially hard for us when it happens to a person or people with a long, promising life ahead of them. I cannot imagine what those of you who loved them are going through, and I can only send my hopes for you to find peace with this painful news.
