Anti-War Political Action

Next meeting, Wednesday, October 19th in FPH 108

Last wednesday we focussed primarily on some 'points of unity' for the group, talking about what type of involvement this group should consider. The most obvious unifying point is that we are against the Iraq War. This will be our starting point. I think it is important for people to realize that be are aiming at a process, not for a finishline. Recognizing peace and justice are processes involving massive amounts of energy, our energy, to invoke, is critical.
Next meeting we will discus some of the necessary organizational points first, then look at some very critical movements happening now, and how we want to be involved, as a group and individualy.
