Thank you for a successful Family & Friends Weekend!

To the Campus Community,

Thank you for participating in this year's Family & Friends Weekend and Inaugural Celebration. Your presence made the weekend a true success!

Despite the challenges of wet and windy weather guests and community members enjoyed lively panel discussions, wonderful food, OPRA activities, a fall farm festival, exceptional dance and theater performances, and a with the help of some late-breaking sunshine a breath-taking fall foliage display that makes the valley one of the most beautiful areas in New England.

I'd like to add a special word of thanks to all the folks who rolled up their sleeves and went the extra mile to make the weekend so special. Your interaction with our guests helped to demonstrate what makes Hampshire College so special.

Once everyone has had some time to settle down and reflect on the weekend's events, I would like to ask you to share your thoughts and suggestions for next year's Family & Friends Weekend. Please feel free to forward your ideas to llitterer@hampshire.edu

As always, we would like to keep Family & Friends Weekend as inclusive as possible. Planning for this event begins as early as March. If you would like to be involved with next year's Family & Friends Weekend, I encourage you to contact the alumni relations office by or before April 30, 2006.
