Fall Farm Festival Cooking Contest

Carrots are a required ingredient--but as long as it's edible, everything else is up to you! Go with a classic, or be original. Anyone can enter, and you can bring as many dishes as you like.

Bring the food to the CSA Barn at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. Judging will take place at 3.

Prizes include Grand Prize, 2nd, 3rd, Most Original, and Most Carroty.

After prizes have been awarded, servings of the entries will be sold. Please bring your food ready-to-be-served, in containers to keep it hot or cold, since there are no kitchen facilities in the barn (the Thorpe House kitchen will be hosting other Farm Festival events). Please put your name on your dishes, and mark if they are vegan or vegetarian.

The Farm Festival runs from 2:30-4. In addition to the cooking contest, there be music, crafts demonstrations and activities, food, cider pressing, blacksmithing, farm activities for all ages, and more!
