Questions to be raised:
How have our institutions (e.g. government, school system,colleges, etc.) been damaged by the legacies? What can we learn from Hurricane Katrina? What is the value to Blacks or Whites in re-visiting the history of slavery and segregation?
In the Cole Assembly Hall, Converse Hall, Amherst College Wednesday, October 19, 4:30-6:00 a reception will follow.
