REAPPOINTMENTS & PROMOTIONS – Fall 2005
At Hampshire the comments and evaluations from faculty, staff, students, advisees, and alums form a critical component of the review process.
Areas of a faculty member's performance which are reviewed at reappointment time are teaching, including advising and examination work; scholarship, including both creative development of teaching materials and research activities; and general involvement in the broader life of the community. Your comments on any or all of these areas will be helpful.
Anyone wishing to place material in the file of these faculty members should send it by the date indicated above for consideration at the candidate's reappointment meeting. Materials received after the deadline will be accepted and added to the candidate's file through December 15th. Information for a candidate's file should be directed to the faculty member's reappointment file, in care of the school office.
